We understand that it isn't easy to move an account from one institution to another, especially if you have direct deposit or automatic withdrawals with your existing accounts. The following steps are designed to assist you in making a transition to MCS Bank.
Change any direct deposits you have going into your existing account. To change your Social Security Direct Deposit, call 1-800-772-1213 and provide them with your new information.
Change any automatic payments you have coming out of your existing account.
Once you have changed all direct deposit, automatic payments and have verified that all transactions have posted and cleared, send notification to your other financial institution to close your account and send you a check for any remaining funds.
